Wood ash + grease = SOAP.

This is a little odd to me. When you say a quarter of "dawn" do you mean a US $0.25 or quarter of a bottle? I think TBS or tps would explain the amount better.

A quarter of the amount if Dawn he regularly uses, is what I understand.

I'd love to try sourdough, but I'd get busy and no one else would remember to feed the starter, and it would either die or mutate and take over the kitchen.

This reminds me of "The Wizard's Guide to Defensive Baking" and the protagonist's carnivorous sourdough-starter familiar...

BTW, don't feel bad about it. I don't make sourdough because keeping it alive takes more work than a succulent - and I've killed half a dozen of those.

I usually just lurk here, but I must speak up about this,

As a translator by trade (Spanish), I want to take every AI out there and smash it to bits with a sledgehammer. They take work away from us who make a living from translation, editing, and proofreading,

Yes, Google Translate can be very helpful but it will never capture nuance the way a human being can. I feel like it's more work to correct it than to translate directly.

Also, current AI models run on what amounts to plagiarism, they are fed content from living authors who are neither acknowledged nor paid for the use of their work.

I am willing to help translate and proofread for free as part of a community effort, as long as said effort is acknowledged in the final product (such as listing the members of the proofreading/translation/editing team at either end of the book).

I twnd to buy my wool/cashmere/blend sweaters secondhand, so giber info can be iffy. I only hand wash them (lesson learned the hard way!) with moisturizing shampoo, then add conditioner to the final rinse. It softens everything but the coarsest fibers.

While I really like the spoon theory, my personal preference is to use two gaming signifiers: mana and hit points. Mana I use for mental/emotional energy, while hit points is physical energy and ability.

Some days I have plenty of mana, but my hit points are low, so I dedicate myself to things that don't take much physical effort. Other days my hit points are high but my mana is low, so I do physical work that doesn't require me to think too much.

I'f I'm lucky, both are high. On bad days, both mana and hit points are wayyyy low.

I would suggest investing in 100% linen clothing, where possible. It wicks sweat away, is light and breathes well.
