Oh and both my dogs (german sheperds) are very good diggers and help in the garden and all things permaculture. These are my little permies.
Just look at the wisdom in their eyes. Man's best friends that is for sure.

The concept is called willow feeder. Question:
What is it about a willow tree that makes it a good beast for this willow feeder system?
Thanks Scott

We love rack of lamb and we cook it at lower heat for longer time very similar to cooking a prime-rib. Both taste awesome. Just like a prime-rib you can cut slits and push pieces of garlic into the meat and let it become imbued while the meat cooks. Just like a good prime-rib don't be in a hurry. "I will serve no wine before its time" seems to fit right along with this. If we had to choose between the two above we would choose the rack of lamb. It is a healthier meat as well. Good luck and happy tasting. Scott

I love strawberries.  Over the years have learned many great things about strawberries. They are the only fruit that has the seeds on the outside of the fruit. They also have a unique fiber that actually removes heavy metals in the body.  Gosh and they taste so great and are so good for you that we should plant more. I am planning a new planter just for strawberries that should give me about double my normal yield and so we can enjoy those nice cool evenings having strawberry shortcake of just a bowl of mashed up strawberries with a little coconut sugar on them or pure maple syrup. Hope you all enjoy strawberries as much as I and we do. Cheers.

1. You can sit in a jar with water touching bottom half and sprout and then plant.
2. You can sit on window shelf and let dry out (or put in dehydrator). Crush up into powder and put in capsules and use for food, medicine.
3. Avocados are one of the very best fats your body needs. Your brain is almost entirely made up of fat, so it is a brain food.
All I use them for now.

Great Idea. I have been wanting to learn to make cheese for a long time now. I would also like to see sheep cheese as it is our favorite.  Also how do you add flavors into the cheese like garlic, onion or caraway seeds or other seeds?  Again with the whey. What are the constituent parts to whey?  I love the idea of small batch and quick is important. What is aging? And how do you do it?  Maybe a section on how to find goat milk, sheep milk and raw cows milk.  Explain the difference between K1 and K2 milks.
Look forward to the book. Let me know when it is out.  I am at: earthsun51@gmail.com

I have not tried this exact approach but have tried a modified version of hugleculture and all my plants to include lilacs, elderberries, fruit trees, and a variety of bushes are all growing very rapidly and looking awesome.  Wish I had more to plant and I would try it.  All my available land is planted. Hope to hear from someone who will actually try it. Good luck.

What you really mean is concrete.  Cement is only one ingredient in concrete.  Here is a recipe.
3 parts aggregate like gravel, 2 parts sand, 1 part cement (Portland Cement) and enough water to make is feel like the consistency of peanut butter, pretty much 1 part water.  But the water is the tricky part, you do not want too little (though less is more) and most assuredly you do not want too much as too much water will weaken the concrete. Experience rules. Oh no taste tests to this recipe, wouldn't be good.

Hi Leigh Tate,

My middle name is Tate which came from 3 brothers that came over about the time of the Mayflower.
I have had dreams of living off grid and homesteading most of my life but alas I mostly dream and enjoy others success.   Hope your dreams keep coming true.
