With so many areas of this nation experiencing excessive heat I thought this might be helpful. Watch out for family members, friends and our pets. Be on the look out for children and elderly in cars and vehicles as well. Here is a great piece on the symptoms of heat stroke. https://commonsensehome.com/heat-stroke/?utm_source=email&utm_medium=newsletter Also if you have to do errands try to do them in the morning. When washing clothes wash in the morning or late at night but try no to dry them in the afternoon unless you are able to do so outside. The lawn also does not need to be mowed in the afternoon right now cutting it may stress ones green grass. My mom told me that during the depression they would wet sheets or towels and hanging them in front of open windows creating evaporation cooling. If you know where the drafts are in the winter they maybe active in the Summer so open and close a few doors and windows to see if you are able to get the wind to move around.

Maybe the Earth as a whole is on a recharging cycle. There has been a lot of solar flares which involve electromagnetic radiation which could be charging various deposits of various metal and elements around the world this heat might expand into the ocean as well La Nina or El Nino might be explained as a result of this exchange. Sunspots are part of the mix as well . We have had auroras go further South than other years might explain part of the weather situation. StackPath  has shown the lights . These space weather affects all of technology since copper etc is involved supports how energy flows various results are happening now.   All I know is that here in Texas and maybe elsewhere we are consider to be on the preheat cycle of Summer. The bonus feature of this year that the various power companies are planning for brownouts and black outs just like the 1970's. I wonder if this condition might also reflect that we do not have the stockpile of transformers being made like we once had in our supply system. Those pesky thunderstorms can knock out a large area. I draw rain turtles facing West even when rain may not be in the forecast and if they mention bad weather as well. I like to add doves, fish, bugs, flowers, trees. I have wrote about rain turtles in the past thank God they serve as location prayer marker for areas needing rain. Oh if one has little ones let them draw using chalk.   If you live in Texas the annual African dirt event is about to arrive.  The plus side the dirt is it may help limit the development of hurricanes.

If your area is needing rain consider drawing a turtle facing West. I use chalk and say a prayer. If nothing else make the turtle picture and add the note.  If you are Catholic make sure to get your land blessed.  These blessings help more than you or I will ever know.

Many years ago when San Antonio Texas area was experiencing severe drought conditions (not hard to do when you have a large desert area near by) an older gentleman called a local country music station  (Randy Carroll radio team before I heart radio) and offered some sound advice he learned long ago. It seems where he lived as a child was experiencing a drought as well so a solution was needed. In the midst was a older gentleman who related a tale from his childhood. So if one does a little generational math here (the best for it has been tested through the ages) one could be applying information more than 200+ years old. The information was this draw a turtle facing West on the ground. I looked it up online and the first civilization (powerful native peoples) knew this and told many but ignorance prevailed. I use chalk so my pictures wash away.  The first method involved using a stick and then stabbing the ground was just to harsh for me.  The driveway also has drawings of fish, butterflies, doves, flowers and lots of bugs.  Now I have added a few more activities to this simple action and that is I say thank God for every cloud in the sky.

Every shower that comes by and one more I add thanks for the rain no need to be impolite saying thank you to God works wonders. So if you know someone who lives in those drought states tell them to go to the bottom of the lakes and draw a few turtles patience is rewarded. Oh like all prayers one is able to say them often and many times as well being grateful is important. Now is the time to clean the lake or waterways bottom from man made trash too.  Turns out we now have an invasive mussel in Medina Lake so this drying heat may help kill them naturally.  Those mussels mustn't get into the water farm management system.  Many lakes lack proper tree deposits at the bottom which help shelter the fish and other wildlife.  One may want to add the nations first red trash cans for the bio-hazardous mask situation no need to let those mask become an additional toxic source for the wildlife. I would recommend working at night when it is cooler just like road construction crews do.

Hi as I wrote earlier I mentioned a brand of boot called sloggers I have narrow feet and high arches and have ended up purchasing boots two size larger (I wear a 9 in most woman's shoes in this brand I wear an eleven.  I have seen them at hardware store and a local garden center too.  True Value  carries them  https://www.truevalue.com/shop/lawn-garden/gardening-workwear/gardening-footwear  i forgot to mention these do not have steel toes which is something to consider.

Okay at one point I worked in a leased children's show depart in Houston Texas.  One of the facts I found out was that if you wanted heavy duty work boots go to the men's shoe area and look at the boots.  Then select a boot which is about two sizes smaller than your regular women's shoe size.  If you were a size 9 select a size 7 and check to see if it may fit.   This may help if you are needing steel toe type shoes.  These shoes from men's department may run a bit wider than your regular shoes.  Bonus if it is winter and you need to wear two pairs of socks.    If you are looking for a mud type boot this is a company  which might help https://www.sloggers.com/Rain-and-Garden-Shoes-s/1824.htm   i have three pairs of the garden shoes for when I go to the farmers market or other places,

My question the flooring in that hidden room looks like a door so drop a washer in the slot and listen to hear if there is any noise.   It could be the door to a hidden passageway stairs to another location possible bigger room below.   one could use a flashlight to see what maybe there.

Hi I haven't searched for this topic but has anyone  seen or is  setting up a garden this might be helpful.  Does anyone know if this type of electroculture gardening  is working? ... https://altifarm.com/blogs/home-page/electroculture-gardening
I know that this type of garden is a great idea keyhole garden   https://www.bobvila.com/articles/keyhole-gardening/     Could they be combined?   If one adds pink to the lighting schedule would one get even more produce makes one wonder what a green house would produce.    It is sort of a thermal type of design.  thanks for the help

I do not have solar panels but I have a question how does one clean the grime off the panels?  When one looks at them the should appear from the side to be coated in brown dirt coating not shiny and dark.  I have even seem this build up on huge panels on businesses.  We have not had heavy rains lately just one which creates a damp surface them the wind shifts and dust and pollen are added on the previous stuff.  So much power is being lost due to grime.   I would think Dawn dishwashing the one used in a sink blue formula would be best since it claims to be safe for the environment.  I wonder is the power hose cleaner would be good as well.      I do wonder about how they the panels are redesigned to be in the weather.

Okay one small idea if one buys those boots use a method like this to waterproof them:  https://blog.treasurie.com/how-to-waterproof-fabric/      I have used the products in the can used for camping to waterproof kids and my canvas shoes including the ones with foil decals.

Another note  my dad told us of the mail carrier going through rural Central Texas using horse and buggy over 90 years ago  with this heating method.  Each home on his route had several bricks heating on or near the stove.  When the mail carrier was sited things shifted quickly the kids would wrap the bricks up in burlap and place in a pail and head out.  The goal was to transfer the load of bricks into the hot box with new hot bricks quickly so the mail could be delivered quickly.   i think the thermos of some sort was in action as well.

I think that heating rocks to warm ones bed might be a good idea but one wonders if one has a high tech mattress will there be fumes?

Okay here are a few other concepts to aid when cooking beans.  First is to add a pinch of baking soda to the soaking water bath.  I have not soaked my beans for years but I add the following carrots to the pot when cooking.  The carrot method arrived from a lovely lady whose family grew beans for a living so I would think they know a few  great tips.    I sort and rinse the beans and add water which covers the beans with  about 2 inches or more of water.   I also add a pinch of baking soda and a dash of sugar and place the lid on the pot as well.  I do stir the beans from time to time and remove the foam from the surface while cooking .   All beans reflect the amount of time they have been sitting on ones shelf one needs to soften the water so depending on the location even a little bit of vinegar may help as well.  I do know that when cooking  or eating raw cabbage I add carrots, apples or apple sauce or apple cider to cooking process.   I happen to like a split blend of yogurt and  mayonnaise with a spoonful of applesauce to the  salad dressing for coleslaw or carrot raisin and a dash or two of ginger adds a bit of spice to  the blend.
