Thank for your time looking this up. I agree the first one seems more promising.

I do use those things when I am making home made backed beans for a meal. When I used that stuff to make a large enough batch to pressure can, I just couldn't get them to taste right. But thanks for taking the time to give feed back.

Does anyone have a recipe for dried beans that can be pressure canned, that would taste like Bush Baked Beans? I have tried a few and for our household they were not a success.

I don't know if the directions are still on the back of a can of Red Devil Lye, but that is what my mom used for directions for making her soap. She would save all the left over cooking grease, when she had enough she would make her soap for laundry. Once made she would pour into half gallon milk cartons for it to cure. After a few days she would remove the milk carton, let it cure for about a month. My job was to grade it up to use for laundry. Floors were mopped with it, dishes were washed in it. bodies were cleaned with it.

My donkey gets milk replace 4 times a day along with Pro Elite Growth and hay & grass. He is 2 months old. We were going to get him when he would be 6 months, but when his mama died, the people ask us if we could take him and raise him. Maybe the stress could be a factor. He has been through a lot. Also any specifics on what to do about the nipping constantly when I am near him?
My donkey has a lot of ear wax, would there ever be a need to clean the wax out? I am new to donkeys. This one is two months old and his mother died. So, I am his mama. Not sure what or how his mother would groom him.
FYI My account was suspended and not by me. Seems as if subjects that had to do with sustainability have  been suspended. Anyone else have that issue?
