So my wife and I have started a series called Homestead Learning. We noticed a huge gap in Homeschool curriculum when it comes to kids being raised on a Homestead. Everything is completely out of context for them!

For anyone on this group who is homeschooling their kids, here is something you might be interested in! I noticed there is a huge gap in the market for homestead themed school books, so I’ve started working on some, and hope to have lots more available soon. They are all inclusive and non gender specific. I really hope you guys find these helpful, and that your kids enjoy them!

This is so awesome! We’ve attempted a solar oven down here in South Africa, which can also be used as a dehydrator, but our goal is definitely to build a better version, and a large dehydrator. We made a YouTube video about it    ☺️

We’ve had success with store bought sweet potatoes many times! We are in South Africa, so almost none of our produce is organic. We actually have a bunch of sweet potatoes in small pots making slips right now. It’s such a fun way to grow them.

We are a female couple homesteading off the grid in South Africa. We’ve had quite a journey trying to find our own piece of land and we’re still not there yet, but we’re co-homesteading on a gorgeous place in the mountains right now. We buy as little as possible, and make as much as we can out of recycled and thrown out materials. We do all things permaculture based and we’re doing our PDC in September with Geoff Lawton!!!
