Hey all!
So my wife and I have started a series called Homestead Learning. We noticed a huge gap in Homeschool curriculum when it comes to kids being raised on a Homestead. Everything is completely out of context for them!
Our series is still in the beginning stages, but we have 3 books so far, two Handwriting Practice Books, and an Interactive Homestead Journal, all available on Amazon. Please do check them out, and let us know what your kids think of them!

That's awesome!

There's so many ways to incorporate homesteading/permaculture into homeschooling, and I think we homeschoolers sometimes get so distracted by just following curriculum that forget to look at how we can make the knowledge relate to our homesteading lives. It also takes a lot of extra brain power to do that, and I really applaud you for taking the time to make your kids learning relevant to their lives and interests!

A while back, I started a thread about the Ways to teach the basics while gardening and practicing permaculture!. Please feel free to add to it!

Oh! And just so you know, we actually do book promotions here on permies, and we've done cirriculum (like Matt Powers Permaculture Student textbook and The School Garden Curriculum by Kaci Rae Christopher). If you'd ever like to do a promo of your curriculum here on permies, contact us and we can arrange it! (You can find out more about how book promos work here)
