I just wanted to check on the status of this place, and I also want to know what the approximate location is.
My wife and I are fairly experienced gardeners and helped manage a small food forest in Colorado. It is something we're pretty passionate about.
We're looking for our own land, but willing to entertain other opportunities in the meantime.

Hi. I realize this is quite an old post, and I have no idea what the current status is with everything. My wife and I have recently moved to Springfield, MO and are actively looking for land and trying to meet others with similar pursuits. Just as an update, we have been in Springfield, Missouri for a few months and are actively looking for land within three hours or so of there.

My wife and I are moving to Springfield very soon, and are looking for a place to rent. We don't plan on staying in Springfield for a long time, but that will be our starting point while we look for land to make a permanent home.

We can just pay rent normally and work jobs somewhere, or we can pay a lower rate in exchange for doing whatever work you need/want done around the property. Either way would be acceptable.

I'm pretty much a jack of all trades and can do a lot of different things, and my wife is knowledgeable with a lot of things, including tree-keeping, and herbal medicine (she is an information sponge).

We're easy-going, respectful people, and I'd like to think we are pretty easy people to get along with.
I'm happy to provide references to people who can vouch for us.
