I would like to build a fence with latillas, 8-12 ft. I'm wondering what environmental impact is of this practise. I'm in SW US, a mixture of forest and vast sage. The fence type is a coyote fence. I also like the Swedish fence but I don't want to be too destructive.
We do have coyote and dog packs that need slowed down or misdirected by fence.

I wanted to come back and say thanks for the information. Building the house foundation so I decided to come back to fences later. I like what I saw, it's what I had in mind.
