When my dad was alive he made bread with wheat flour he ground in the old wood version of the Magic Mill grinder from the 70s.  I brought it home the other day and it works fine, but on its finest setting the flour it makes is not very fine.  I can see how the coarse/fine adjuster could be modified to bring the grinding stones closer but I'm wondering if anyone else has had to do this.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Magic Mill with the steal blades. I have used it on corn and buckwheat as well as wheat.  I always get a nice smooth flour.

Did you try sifting out the fine stuff and running the courser stuff through again?

I need a new interior decorator. This tiny ad just painted every room in my house purple.
