I am a huge fan of the TV show "Golden Girls" which in my opinion is family oriented.  The girls mention this frequently ... that they are a family.  On one episode, they mention the importance of the grandchildren to learn about their ancestors.

The sitcom features strong-willed Dorothy (Bea Arthur), spacey Rose (Betty White), lusty Southern belle Blanche (Rue McClanahan) and matriarch Sophia (Estelle Getty), Dorothy's mom, occasionally clash but are there for one another in the end.

Old people having sex. I think that's the first time they talk about that on TV.

Before Bea Arthur was Dorothy, she was Maude. A very liberated woman.

I have seen all the Golden Girls episodes many times ... then I found Maude.  Some I have not seen and some I have seen several time.  Many of the Golden Girls episodes seem to be Maude rewritten.

After all these years, this is still my favorite comedy.  I feel it is important to have some laughter so this is my go-to.

Occasionally I watch Mama's Family or Mom.
