I have a mature male/female kiwi situation and don’t want to lose them. How do I support my kiwi’s while my new trellis is bing built?

Welcome to Permies!

If the cross pieces are fine and it's just a matter of replacing the verticals, maybe you could build temporary supports to lift/hold things up and then replace the posts?

What did you end up doing? I’m curious because I’ll likely be in a similar situation in a few years. I have hardy kiwis growing up a trellis made of old wooden ladders buried 2’ into the ground. I think they will rot off at ground level within a few years. I was thinking of just pounding in metal support posts along side the ladder before that time comes.
