There is a new type of Glockermann pump, working for similar contexts as ram pumps.

They work with car tire which accumulate the energy, and then push it uphill. It is cheaper than a petrol based pump, and the running costs are almost inexistant.

The output chart seems impressive:

With a flow of 6 l/ second over 0.6 m, you can pump 700 l for 200 m per day.

They are based in Australia, but maybe they ship?
