Well here I am living in a unit in beautiful Manly NSW - right near the beach, plenty of trees, sun surf lots activities for the kids etc, but hey I long for a small farm with space, chickens,my own food, stars, outside bath, animals & sense of freedom.....sigh...

It may happen someday however for now we have the Manly Co - Op - WOW. I head around there with my hessian bags, my glass milk bottles & jars.
I meet my community there, I learn about food I love turning a tap that fills my bottles with organic milk - good for me and the farmer. I fill my jar with fresh peanut butter & I grab fresh veggies fir tonight’s dinner.
As I leave I turn right look towards the Pacific Ocean Jim click my heals & head home with the goodies.
A receipt comes to my email,a newsletter tell me what shape the shop is in financially & we recently applied for a grant fir new signage....

If you can’t have a farm for now, you can have the rest with a co - op  - I love it I hope & would love to work on hard that our future is these that take on the giants....ours is already becoming popular & the green lights will see it grow.

They star small but get bigger - remember if you think small things in life don’t matter you have never slept with a mosquito - good health to all....

Your co-op setup sounds super cool. I would love to be able to go fill my own jars with milk and peanut butter at my local. My nearest "zero packaging" store is a boat ride away so not great for weekly shopping. Our CSAs also have a waiting list a mile long so for now most of my local veggies are whatever I can grow in my own yard. :)

Thank Jono,
Your book looks great mate. As mentioned more & more people are seeing the benefits of a Co - Op.
For us it’s about space & the initial setup...
I believe that presenting a product in a sound, honest , common sense & environmental conscious way is the way to go.

I am a ranger in National Parks - educating & presenting what can be achieved in a National Park by an individual being responsible & enthusiast is most important.
When you feel embraced & you are part of it & own it, the rest is easy...
