Is it possible to extract energy using induction from a plasma?

It may well be, but it is in the theoretical stages right now. Waste heat recovery is being considered as an end-stage to cooling anodes and cathodes in a system where plasma moves in a toroidal shape.

I don't think we're talking about something that can be achieved by private individuals or homesteaders.
