Well, as
Geoff Lawton says, we are Terraformers
A lot happened over the past year.
1. We have a new member in our family, Master Lovik Nikhil Bose arrived on 19th September 2020 and is now 11 months old.
2. We have started designing gardens for 3 different teams. One is in flat
land with sandy soil, second is in arid hard clay pan sitting on a slope and the third is in a hilly area with clay soil and an undulating terrain with some degree of planting.
3. We transformed our terrace into a terrace garden (rooftop garden) where we grew some winter crops and now Monsoon is just getting over. We have started new plantings in paper cups and most are ready to be transplanted.
Some updates are below, enjoy!
Monsoon was wonderful!
Oh and we threw some Turmeric into a Hugel bed we made (without covering with soil). For an experiment these are good yields!
This is how we set up our Terrace Garden, you can do too. Phase 1 below;

So, this is how our garden looks now. We will be trying to mulch with sawdust this season, lets see how it goes. Cover crops like sweet potatoes are growing very rapidly and need to control a bit. Snakes have scared my kid, so gotta do with heavy mulch.
P.S: I dislocated my left shoulder so there won't be much action to boast about for a while
