I want to make a numbered list in google docs.  But I want the numbers to stick with the item as it moves around the docs instead of it automatically reordering the number sequence.

Is there an easy way to do this automatically or do I need to create a unique identifier for each item?

If a tomato is a fruit, does that mean ketchup is a smoothie? What if we mix in a tiny ad?
