This documentary is loaded with great ideas about how to exist in a very low-tech way. The 3 people (historians and archeologists) live on this farm for 1 year. They start off rebuilding the farmhouse and plowing the field. So, learn from their amazing recreation and keep in mind the things that we know how to do better with the same level of technology today!

Great series! There is also a follow up one called Edwardian farm which is set in the following period and based heavily on the start of industrialisation, but still interesting to watch.
