I have heard about Farm incubator programs, WWOOF, internships, and apprenticeships on this forum mentioned before, but nobody has mentioned any such programs close to the Dayton, Ohio area. With my current studen loan debts, I do not have the money right now to travel actoss the country, so I'm hoping there is a program within driving distance of where I live. I live in Beavercreek which is east of Dayton on the edge of Greene County. I'm trying to find some work opportunity after graduating from my liberal arts degree last year. I've been having to get a second degree just to find a job and I have not been enjoying the process at all. I have been trapped inside all day and I am no longer allowed to grow anything on my yard anymore.

I forgot about the program offered by Dayton Urban Grown: (http://www.oeffa.org/userprofile.php?geg=1300). I had already posted about them on another thread, but I will post it again anyway. They offer apprenticeship programs in the Dayton Ohio area. If you happen to have a Facebook account, they can also be contacted through their Facebook page.

We operate a small farm on the east side of Indpls using permaculture principles. We accept WWOOFers or Workaway volunteers or directly message us on Facebook at Hero Farms, or Steward-Owner at Phoenix Urban Farm.
