Hi everyone,

My wife and I live in Regina, saskatchewan and we would like to leave the city. We are so glad that we found this forum. I am searching for ecovillage community in saskatchewan. About an hour from the city to be not too far from work. We have in mind to build or to buy an off-grid house with a good soil to have our own garden. If possible to raise some chickens. We don't want to live isolated from people but be connected with homesteading open-minded people. We are open also to live an a farm. So if you are a farmer and want to sell us a small piece of you land (about 1-3 acres) our would like to sell a off-grid house, please feel free to contact us also. We are a young couple and can offer our help here around...

I never build a home of my own but I consider myself as a fast learner and a little handy when I got the chance to do some on my own. If you have ever build a off-grid house and live about an hour or so from the city. We would like to hear from you. We will need some help to build our own house and some advice too. Please contact us also.

Cindy, d
I live Regina too. Did you know there is a Permaculture Regina group? It is Newly started up but there is a web page you can check out. So far there are 68 members. We had our first meeting a couple weeks ago. Anyway, just thought you might be interested.

I just realized it is no longer April, when you posted your topic. It is now May 31st.
BTW, I myself have taken an interest in building homes using natural materials, as well as Eco and off grid features. I would love to meet you two for a conversation.

Hello, I am a 24 year old mother of two wonderful boys. I would like to live in an ECO village around the Regina area. I am outgoing, friendly, loving and want to grow and live off of pure, nutritious food. Have somewhat of a farm for food and fun. I want to have other open minded, loving people to be involved in this idea, and to live on the same land like a family where we all help out. Wouldn't it be amazing to branch off of the original idea of society, and create something so pure and sustainable? I want my children to grow up with love in their hearts, love of nature, love of people and new ideas. If anyone can relate to how I feel, and are genuine, honest, pure motive people than by all means contact me...or reply.

Live in Light...

Hello Rae, I live in Regina myself. I have an interest in these ideas you have. Perhaps we could discuss them further by email. Would that be alright with you?
