It looks like there is a big blank spot on our eastward Rocket Mass Heaters tour this summer / early fall.
And that blank spot has Missoula (and the rest of Montana) right in the middle of it.

Would anyone be interested in hosting us, either to do a public event or a private site visit, on our way to spread the word about rocket mass heaters to an unsuspecting Eastern audience?

Paul has first dibs, but as Paul is busy the next few weeks, he may be willing to share if we come up with a game plan.

Come on over to the Wood Burning Stoves forums if this is a strange new concept and you need some time to think about it.

Yours,
Erica and Ernie Wisner

Although this is not really answering your host question, I'm hoping
that you can anser this question on rocket heaters.
Can you use any other fuel in rocket heaters other than wood?
I'm thinking about growing duckweed as a fuel. Have not been able
to find out how to make the duckweed into pellets to burn.
Hopeing that it is possible and can be used in the rocvket heaters.
What is your opinion on this?

Tick check! Okay, I guess that was just an itch. Oh wait! Just a tiny ad:
