i'm attempting some OHN based on Chris Trump youtube. I used dry molasses instead of brown sugar and i'm not convinced it's properly fermenting. The sugar soaked up all the liquid from the dry rehydrated ingredients.
Any ideas on if i should add liquid or leave it alone.?

The problem with molasses is it contains water, even dried. You don't want water in your ferments.

I'd love to see how this ended up.Sorry I did t see this when 1st posted.

By the way, never add any liquid until mixing for application. Water brings life which brings contamination, degradation and putrification.
