Hi folks,

I collected a few hundred grams of sainfoin seeds last summer and want to get them planted. I have a small wildflower meadow already established.

All the planting instructions I have seen are for establishing agricultural fields, and assume you are starting from bare tilled ground.

Any tips for establishing in an existing dense sward?

I’m wanting to add the plants to the mix for the valuable nectar forage for my bees.
