Evening Primrose vs Twilight Primrose

I was given a Twilight Primrose plant. Information on the plant shows it as patented..... It definitely came from Lowe's. I was wondering if anyone knew if it had equivalent properties to Evening Primrose as it is still an Oenothera.

According to Plants for a Future http://www.pfaf.org Oenothera species vary greatly in their medicinal and edible properties, so I would not expect an unknown species of Oenothera to have the same properties as Oenothera biennis.
