Elephant Grass aka Napier Grass experiences

Hi to all,

I was looking about for a grass that might be good for a privacy hedge, maybe even hiding livestock from public view from the highway and was looking at some images of Napier grass aka Elephant grass. How would this be for a Zone 8A/8B climate with 60 inches of rainfall a year?  I see the seed is readily available, corms not so often, will it grow readily from seed?  Any issues with invasiveness like some bamboos or is it slow growing? Any thoughts?  Many thanks.
