Wooden Base for Cob Chicken Coop?

Hi, I'm new here and have what is probably a stupid question. Can I build a small cob chicken coop on a wooden base? The base would be very strong - its the same base  I've built wooden coops on. It's essentially a table made with 4x4 posts, 2x4 braces, and a piece of salvaged 3/4 inch marine plywood for the floor. I really want to try building a cob coop but I just don't trust myself to get masonry right. We get lots of rain in this area so all of my coops are raised on wooden legs anyway. Thanks for any advice!

Hi Ann,

Welcome to Permies.  I have no experience building with cob, but there are others here who do. I am sure they will soon address your question.
