I've have not yet posted here in all my time at permies but today I am so incensed at the dumbing down of the Olympic Opening Ceremony on American TV that I am moved to post. Sad.

Are you referring to the omission of the 7/7 victims in the UK 's terrorist attack?
Yes. Shocking that NBC,I think, showed an interview with a USA swimmer instead.
