We're gearing up to build our first straw bale home and are having a hard time finding a source of straw bales. Specifically, we're looking for bales that haven't been sprayed with rodenticide, have never been wet, have been freshly baled and are 3-string bales. We would really like to find all of these things in the large, 8ft bales if possible.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I know there are a few of you who have built straw bales homes in the area so I'm hoping someone can point us in the right direction.

Thanks!
