+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
The Missoula Consolidated Planning Board will be hosting four presentations as a preface to the Board's deliberations on recommendations for a Missoula County Agriculture Policy. The meeting will include the following presentations:

· “Losing Ground” Community Food and Agriculture Coalition (CFAC) (Presenter – Neva Hassanein)
· “A Place to Grow” – Missoula Organization of Realtors and Missoula Building Industry Association (MOR/MBIA) (Presented by representatives of those organizations)
· “A Compilation of Information about Mitigation and Incentives” – Missoula County Open Land Citizen Advisory Committee (OLC) (Presenter – Jim Cusker)
· “Agricultural Protection in Montana: Local Planning, Regulations, and Incentives” – University of Montana Land Use Law Clinic (Presenter – Professor Michelle Bryan-Mudd)

The Planning Board will have time for discussion during this meeting. There will also be limited time for public comment at the beginning and end of the meeting.

You can find the agenda, the documents being presented, and other project information on the Rural Initiatives Website at http://www.co.missoula.mt.us/rural/MC_AgPolicyProject.htm. Hard copies of documents can be obtained for a fee at the Rural Initiatives Office located at 317 Woody in Missoula.

At this meeting, we expect Planning Board will set a subsequent meeting date for further discussion about potential agriculture policy options for Missoula County.
