I have a sunfrost 12 volt. I think it's 12 cu ft. The freezer is very tiny - not designed by a homesteader - it's 1/2" too small for a quart sized ball jar to fit! Very expensive. We've had it for like 17 years but the last 2 years the fridge doesn't get cold
enough. The freezer still works. During the summer we have a regular chest freezer too (kenmore 3 cu ft, I think). I have it on a timer so that at night it's only on for a minute every 2 hours so it doesn't drain our batteries. Everything stays frozen.
If you're more organized than I am you can convert a chest freezer to a chest fridge using a device sold to homebrewers. A temperature probe turns an outlet on and off a set points. I had a hard time finding my food though.
