This is one of the straw bale guest houses at Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage in Rutledge Missouri. I wanted to share with you some of the lovely details that make this such a fun place to stay. There's a lot of small diameter round wood from the site, as well as local salvage and cob and earthen plaster. I wish motels had this much character.  #unclemud #cob #dancingrabbitecovillage #naturalbuilding #strawbale #earthenbuilding

Thank you so much for filming this building at the Eco-Village. Please say hello to Mark Mazzioti for me? He built my rocket mass heater with heated bench and a cook top in Kentucky. He can show you photos and a video he made of the build. That guy can really jam on the banjo and sing!

The fabric for the curtain in your room is the same fabric my son used to sew a sleep pants pattern when he was in middle school. Cool.
