From the 13th to the 21st of April 2013
Quinta do Sabugueiro is going to develop a
workshop the 1st workshop of a series of workshops on Bio-Construction. These workshops are theoretical-practical where you will learn bio-construction techniques by helping us build a
project for the Farm.
In this intensive workshop of 9 days you will build a dry toilet at the Farm. The dry toilet is going to be built in tabique,
cob and bottles. Cob constructions use the following materials: clay,
straw,
water, sand and lime.
Please be aware that the number of places for the workshop is limited!!!
Price: 350 € includes
course, meals and camping on site
Facilitator: Nuno Mamede is a
Permaculture with significant
experience in bio-construction and has been developing workshops throughout Portugal in the last 3 years during which period he taught more than 500 students.
Nowadays, Nuno works as a
Permaculture and Bio-Construction facilitator, designer of TerraCrua.org, and is involved in building a community at Vale do Ceira where he lives.
