I am successfully feeding bluebirds at my window feeder
and have about 5 pairs visiting daily.
the secret is buying suet at your local Large meat department
then slicing it length wise and again cross wise then diagonally to
get it down to very small chunks that they can toss back to burn later.
it's truly amazing how large o chunk they can swallow and i'm sure
that my feathered friends will build nests in the bluebird houses i set out
and police my garden for unwanted bugs in spring.
