Ebbing’s silverberry / elaeagnus x ebbingei - zone 5? Invasive?

I am looking for that elusive thing, an evergreen hedge that will grow in shade (under maples).  This plant seems promising, but I have two questions:
1) will it survive in zone 5 (western Massachusetts)?
2) will it be invasive?

Canadian yew is another candidate but I don’t want to plant anything poisonous.
