Hello Everyone

Wondering if anyone has ever glassed eggs with calcium oxide or quicklime? Or has slacked their own quicklime and used the wet calcium hydroxide? Basically our problem is this, we have dry powder of calcium oxide for building purposes and a barrel where we slacked the calcium oxide. But the calcium hydroxide is in water and the proportions of powder to water are unknown. So if we use the wet calcium hydroxide, we won't be able to determine the 1oz to 1 quart ratio. How essential is it to get the 1oz to 1 quart ratio exact for glassing eggs? Any relevant information would be appreciated. Thank you
