Just had a chat with Paul.
On one hand, moving stuff a little later in the summer means we may be able to grow more of the food it takes to
feed people at summer events. That's part of why we did stuff a week later in 2023 than in 2022.
On the other hand, pushing stuff a week later increases the likelihood that it will be hot, hot, hot. But, heat mitigation protocols have gone way up since 2022 - new shade sails (tripling in quantity for 2023) misters, freezy-pop treat things, and perhaps most of all, a nearly unlimited
water supply with the new well.
All that to say, we're looking at these dates for 2024:
PDC: June 16-28
PTJ: July 1-12
SKIP: July 15-26
How do those dates look to everyone? As always, arrival day is the day before and departure day is the Saturday after.
