This is blooming now in the PNWet.  Great medicine against virus and mild to moderated depression. Many doctors speculate that it works against depression because it is an anti-viral.  A lot of research is accumulating that many of us have a wide range of virus in us at all times, some helpful, some not helpful.  These medicines can take out the accumulated virii from over the years that are just waiting to pounce when we aren't feeling well, we're overstressed, we have other health or emotional issues.  When I gather the flowers from this invasive plant, I notice that it doesn't reproduce as well, which makes sense.  There are giant areas of it in the West.   Don't mistake it for tansy ragwort, which also blooms yellow this time of year, but looks very different as a plant.
