I like the idea of a tag cloud on Appropedia's front page - you know, a "cloud" of keywords, with the big font representing lots of content and the small font representing small amounts of content, and each keyword is clickable.

Would that be helpful - or are there better ideas?

Appropedia.org: wiki for sustainable design, permaculture, appropriate technology & all that jazz.
