Anti-Static Data Storage From Desk Clutter

I was cleaning off some clutter from my desk and I found that my thumb drives fit into an Altoids tin, cool I can repurpose that.

Then I found a CPE (Chlorinated Polyethylene Elastomer) bag which is an anti-static material. It was a little too big to line the Altoids tin with like a little trash bag so I cut it in half and rolled the sides inward.


Now I have a nice little data storage tin. Neat.

Second-hand outlets usually have those in a wide variety of dimensions ... and cheap too.

1. Loose coins, bills & duplicate keys - painted flat black and stuffed under the seat in your car.
2. Random & odd sized nuts & bolts.
3. Convenient when repairing or dissecting electronics, computers, mechanical hardware and such.
4. Secure mouse & bug resistant storage for seasoning in the kitchen - (please wash first).
5. To protect exposed, table-top butter bricks - especially outside - (again, please wash first).
