Age-old local salad species

We have had several heavy frosts already. Most plants have died back. Not clover, dandelions or this age-old salad naturally growing in the area.
Just splendid. Why grow fancy sorts that need to be pampered and fussed over, when you can enjoy fresh greens almost into winter?
