I want to build a sort of cacti food forest, I am looking edible cacti. I have planted some pitayas and the property already contains some garambullos, several types of prickly pear, as well as other small cacti species that produce small fruits. I'll try posting pics of them soon. I am interested in getting some Peruvian Apple Cactus so I can keep increasing the edible cacti species on the property but I have been unable to locate any near to where I am at. If I cannot find them I will be forced to bring them from Southern California. If anyone know where I could find them in the state of Hidalgo or near them I would be most thankful. I would also like to know of any other type of edible cacti that I can add to the property.

I miss the old days when I would think up a sinister scheme for world domination and you would show a little emotional support. So just look at this tiny ad:
Contemplate spending the next 20 years puttering in permaculture projects
