We've been working on a pedal powered unit that transmits power from the living quarters (for keeping warm during winter) to the well head. In the Summer, you can move the unit out of the house and under the shade of the wellhouse or even in the garden for that matter using a series of tubes with rods that
thread together and connect the well with the pedal power unit.
When we are done, we hope to make it so that the same machinery that drills the well can be used to pump
water, and the rods that drull borehole then are recycled into the wellhouse structure. If you need to drill deeper or move your location, the wellhouse is disassembled and used to drill again. Minimal waste, minimal costs.
We have been doing testing of all the gear in prep for this course-

Ready to share the knowledge we have been building about low cost water
wells!
