This short film is about artist and woodsman Lawrence Older (1912 - 1982) of the Adirondack in the Northeastern region of the United States. He chronicles the history of the area, in particular, the logging trade through "passed down" folk tunes . The film features commentary by Pete Seeger and George & Vaughn Ward.
