New, yet-to-be-completed 30' diameter Eco-Yurt by
Shelter Designs. Made with hand-peeled lodgepole rafters and non-toxic oil finish on all interior
wood. We ordered this yurt but will not be able to put it up because of changes in our
land circumstances. That means it's your chance to get a brand-new, excellent quality yurt for much less than the normal retail price.

-30-foot diameter (706 square feet)

-stove jack flashing kit
-three door openings
-5 wood-paneled glass window openings
-Starfire wall fabric, dark blue, w/ 5-year warranty
-Proshield roof fabric, tan, w/ 8-year warranty
-artic insulation package (warmest possible)
-snow and wind kit, with buyer-supplied poles for snow legs
-ceiling fan mount
Options:
-We elected to finish and supply some of the materials ourselves, to keep the price down on this yurt. That included sourcing and framing in the glass windows and doors, and harvesting and preparing the lodgepole legs for the snow-and-wind supports. The price is based on those self-finished components. If you are not interested in doing those steps yourself, it would be possible to work with Shelter Designs to have them take more of those features and steps to completion for an additional cost.
-A platform is not included; you can build platform and deck according to your needs. We do have a substantial amount of locally reclaimed lumber that we were planning to use for construction of the platform and interior loft, and would be willing to
sell with the yurt.
-Yurt can be crated and shipped via freight anywhere in the US by Shelter Designs for additional fees.
NOTE: We designed and ordered this yurt before a change in circumstances that means we will not be able to erect it where we had planned. Its construction is currently on hold, but could be re-started for a committed buyer.
