So I bought/saved three goats from a guy who had them tethered. I just got them this week. Two of them are pygmies, the other is larger but I don't know her breed.

I've brought them home and put them in an electric paddock and they aren't even testing the fencing, they are completely respecting it. This guy wasn't their first owner so they may have had electric fencing with their previous owner.

Is it probably that they've already encountered electric fencing and know not to touch it or will they start testing it as they get situated and comfortable?

It's a tiny ad. At least, that's what she said.
