What size do you use? I read one person saying 1/8 in. openings. I can only find 1/4 in hardware cloth and 1/16 in. window screen. Is 1/16 in too small fro varroa to fall through?

I would suggest 1/16 is too small . Can you fix two layers of the 1/4 offset so as to be 1/8
