Watershed Management Group (WMG), a non-profit educational organization, is excited to bring its Water Harvesting Certification course to Albuquerque, NM.

The 7-day intensive program which will be offered September 15-21, 2014, provides the highest quality and greatest depth of training in integrative water harvesting offered in the nation. Join our list of Certified Practitioners to integrate new skills and knowledge into your practice, educational, or advocacy work.

An early registration discount is available now through July 18th.

This unique course includes hands-on training through actual implementation of a rain garden, plastic rain tank, and a laundry greywater system. Instructors will include author Brad Lancaster, WMG co-founder Catlow Shipek, and Sante Fe based permaculture & water harvesting designer Jeff Adams.

Brad Lancaster leads an earthworks workshop.

We are seeking residential scale sites to be training hosts and receive discounted installation of these water harvesting systems. Site hosts will need to cover the design, prep, and materials costs for desired systems. The discount is in the reduced labor cost for the installation. Please contact Jeff Adams to learn more and become a site host for this training program.

If you are interested in learning more or joining our growing list of local partners to make this course a success please contact Jeff Adams (jeffrey@terrasophia.com) or Catlow Shipek (catlow@watershedmg.org).

James DeRoussel leads a Green Streets workshop.

You can see all the trainings that Watershed Management Group (a non-profit) is hosting on their Technical Trainings page. No Canadian class. Perhaps it was a different organization offering the course?
