i was looking into this. i keep quails as well and i think it might help with them as well.

using the pasture more effectively with over head cover for them to run to if the feel spoked. i mean chickens are jungle fowls plus. smart chickens dont run around without cover. or a rooster look out.

so ive been thinking just like goats and young sheep need furniture maybe my chickens might like some. does anyone already do this. i dont think i can get a tree style pasture setup because we use that area to play soccer in the summer time but maybe we can do this instead like putting a couple of boxes out or putting something like a large box on wheels in the farthest place from the trailer. but not to close to the fence
