Here is an interesting page on one of the downsides of the consumer culture we live specifically the auto industry. It is quite the conudrum.

Good catch on the zerohedge article, Sam.

Well as the folks that blog at zerohedge know...this is repetitive, intentional resource waste! Typically wrongly blaming unionized labor, or any of the other 3000 petty excuses used to justify this example of obvious mismanagement, beginning at the Fed & the Treasury and of course the private sector board room.

All the natural checks & balances that reasonably govern one 's behavior have been legislated to provide a profit, whether it legalizes industry wide bailouts, demands more deep wells punched than even the earth's mantle can withstand, or denies any kind of respect even if located in often unseen parking lots.
