The Colorado Plateau beats to an ancient drum. Extending across northern Arizona, western Colorado, New Mexico, southern Utah, maybe even a pocket or two in Wyoming. Neither true Rockies nor typical desert, we have some interesting permaculture challenges to say the least, but the landscape makes up for all.

Who else is here, from where?

Interesting region. It is a sort of "Do we belong in the Rockies, or Southwest?"

im trying my hardest to get out to the western slope, but am currently stuck along the lower front range.

Hi!
This is my first post. I live outside Flagstaff AZ. This will be my 4th summer gardening here, and am currently trying to get my plants through the month of June. 80 degrees and windy in the day, below freezing at night, single-digit humidity, and the ever-present sun. Yikes.

The region certainly does present some challenges.
