I am looking for a core group of 4 to 6 people to establish a regenerative homestead, and focus on natural farming. The goal is to move away from the "institutional" feel of many modern ecovillages and get back to the basics of land stewardship and community.

What this is:

Regenerative Focus: Agroforestry and permaculture. We want to leave the land better than we found it.

Active Reconstruction: I’m looking for a property with good "core" that needs work. If you enjoy carpentry, masonry, or natural farming, you’ll fit right in.

Shared Resource Model: We will use a legal structure (like a simple Co-op or Association) to ensure financial parity. No one person should hold all the power because they have more money.

Small-Scale Hospitality: A common space for guests and workshops. We want to host, but we aren't running a resort; it’s about sharing the lifestyle.

What this isn't: This isn't a "peace and love" retreat where nothing gets done. It’s a project for people who value crafts, hard work, and the autonomy that comes with producing your own food.

Next Step: If you're tired of the "formal" ecovillage scene and want to actually build something, send me a message. Tell me what you’re good at and what "shared living" looks like to you.

Edit Also this is a nearby land

This area has a lot to offer and is away from fires/mining projects, and close ish to the border as well as close to the big lake

Your area, south east Portugal is an area I'd not be particularly interested. I'm looking to start my own project, it seems you have your own property and some framework going on.

edit: though the fires are a valid concern.

I'm interested in this.

I think the regenerative focus is commendable but personally I would prefer to focus on stuff that directly affects the success / failure of the project before other concepts are introduced.

My vision is people living on land together (farmhouse split into units / yurts etc..) and farming it profitably.

I wonder if AI can facilitate greater harmony than was previously possible in terms of dispute resolution/ labor allocation etc...?

I did not include the profit - for me - because of a few savings plus remote work, but also, going slower or waiting a couple years in the beginning can make the soil better, providing long term stability, less demanding work etc. and clear ideas.
Working with nature.
